Andrew Marsh after finishing the 2003 Coast to Coast

About Us

The Otters are a social mens touch team based in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Originally founded in November 2002 by Justin Conway, the Otters quickly became one of the most well-known touch teams in Christchurch. This website proved to be a real publicity weapon, attracting over 3000 people in the first half of 2003. When Founding Father Conway fell and broke his wrist during a match, hundreds of people world-wide hit the site looking for news on his progress (and embarrassing photos of him). Currently the Otters enjoy interest from people in over half a dozen countries around the world, and the marketing team is working hard to increase the team's profile globally.
